Enjoy!

I posted a bit over at tracitalynne.com Now with Comments!

Please comment, actually, so I know you are there. I will still blither on regardless, but it is nice to know who is reading the blitherings. I think I will post mostly over there from now on, so reset your bookmarks! (because, obviously, this is highly important to you. Likely you will want to take the rest of the day off to adjust to the changes.)

so there.

Where else have I been? Well, here, sometimes . There will eventually be comments and images, whee!
However, there is not much time for blogging lately, even though there is plenty to blog about. In fact, HH and I sat in bed for half an hour trying to remember what the hell it was that I said I was going to blog about. Something hilarious happened, I can assure you that.

I was wondering where Dooce and Fussy and the like get the time to blog. Then I realized that their children actually sleep sometimes. Not so in the BabyHead household. No sleeping here, ha ha. Sleeping is for suckers.

So anyway, I will still try to post here, but I think eventually I will try to move the Greatest Hits from here over to there and do most of my new stuff there, too. Now here's hoping for some downtime, or at the very least, a drool proof laptop.

Mea Culpa

Where have I been? I've been Here . All the damn time. Mama needs to have her walks (and drinks). Sorry.

Cute!

Momentous Occasion Alert: BabyHead has officially rolled over, as of Tuesday. It is the cutest goddam thing, especially since she hates to be on her stomach, so she cries once she's over, but then when you flip her back, she just flips onto her stomach again. She is determined to advance, even against her own wishes.

Another cute thing is that she has commandeered a wicker basket from Ikea and made it her own. We put her in it as a joke, and she ended up sitting in it, happy as a clam (a clam in a basket!) while we put together all our furniture. We have hundreds of dollars of child distraction devices, and we could have just had a $10 basket. I am going to go buy a bunch more for baby shower gifts.

I miss you much

Since Diaryland was down for so long, I finished my Birth Story at my other website that HH bought me for Christmas. He is so romantic.

Let's get it started

Wahoo-yippee-mmm,mmm cool mama thing about today: I got to use my new disher AND new silicon mat to make cookies today. Man, is that disher cool. (sorry, I couldn't find a link fast enough. You will just have to imagine)

Boo-Hiss-Poopie thing about today: Did you know that breastfeeding women can get a yeast infection on their nipples? It's true. Did you know that a yeast infection on your nipples (a.k.a. thrush) feels like hundreds of paper cuts on your nipples, which is extra awesome when someone is feeding off of them every couple of hours? Again, all true.

Bonus Thing: The thrush comes from the baby, who gets it from taking antibiotics. So: Antibiotics = upset baby belly (which = no sleep + lots of crying) + medicine everywhere + paper cuts on nipples. Is the treatment worse than the disease it is treating? And they wonder why people are turning more towards alternative medicine.
